Cara Gordon is a wardrobe stylist based in Los Angeles, California.
Upon moving to New York City from the Midwest, Cara got her start in the editorial world working in the fashion departments of DuJour, Marie Claire, Brides, and W Magazines. During this time, she became close with former British Vogue editor and current film producer + fashion historian, Bronwyn Cosgrave, who said she ultimately saw Cara as a successful stylist. Notably, Cara worked with Bronwyn on her film "Larger Than Life: The Kevyn Aucoin Story" and various creative ventures before becoming a full-time, freelance wardrobe stylist.
Cara since has worked with the likes of talent from Ashley Gerasimovich, Tini Stoessel, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Alesso, Kendall and Kylie Jenner to Janelle Monae, and more along with publications such as the NY Post, Health, goop, Refinery29, Rolling Stone, and more. Cara’s resume also includes catalogue, e-commerce, advertisement, and film work.
A strong influence of her bold, "more-is-more" creative inspiration derives from her time as a competitive synchronized figure skater representing Team USA. During her skating career, she learned at a young age not only how clothes should fit, but that what someone wears on or off the ice plays a crucial role in telling a story. As a stylist, Cara is passionate about helping her clients express whatever they most wish to portray to the world and firmly believes that the possibilities truly have no limit.
Looking forward to meeting you!
